Location: the hotel was adjacent to convenient stores, a maze of bars, and Yasaka Shrine and Maruyama Park plus temples, traditional shops, and tons of restaurants. We stayed for 6 nights here, loved Gion district: )

for a 4 star hotel everything was fantastic, i loved to be here. the place had a quiet atmosphere. the location of the property was good and incredible - a 10-15 minute walking distance from nishiki market shopping district. the total experience was relaxing, i would recommend.

Large and brand-new room with decent amenities, sofa plus a bento box, and smoke detectors too for guests' safety. A wide array of goodies for breakfast. What a marvellous and incredible location on trains to Tokyo!

We had a fantastic stay at Yoin Hotel Kyoto Gion. The location was excellent, situated on a quiet street yet close to beautiful gardens and a vibrant shopping strip. The hotel room was spacious and comfortable, with a unique bathroom layout that worked well. We especially enjoyed the shower/bathtub combination. The staff were friendly and polite, always greeting us with a smile. we had a great experience and would definitely stay here again.

Our stay at Yoin Hotel Kyoto Gion was truly exceptional. We spent 5 wonderful nights here and it quickly became our favorite hotel in Japan. The room was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully designed, exceeding our expectations. Its location on a quiet street in Gion was perfect, with all the action just seconds away. The staff, especially Ayaka, Karin, Mihao, and the team. The amenities provided, such as pyjamas, coffee pods, and tea, added to the overall comfort and convenience of our stay. Highly recommended!

I had a fantastic stay at this luxurious hotel! The location is superb - tucked away on a quiet side street, yet still close to all the action. I loved being able to walk to the main strip and explore the old parts of town. Plus, there are plenty of stations and buses nearby for easy transportation. The room itself was amazing, with its spacious layout and two comfortable double beds. The staff were exceptional and highly trained, providing top-notch service throughout my stay.

The room was exceptional - spacious, well-designed and very clean. The staff were highly trained and provided great service. One of the best aspects was the location, within walking distance to major train stations, restaurants, and tourist attractions. Having the option of two double beds was fantastic for our family. the strong and reliable Wi-Fi was a plus.

While no breakfast was offered, we found it slightly inconvenient that there were no tools available to easily make our own breakfast or wash dishes. We also would have appreciated having daily room cleaning without extra charges.

Some aspects of the stay were less than ideal, such as the lack of breakfast options or kitchen facilities for guests to prepare their own meals. the noise from nearby bars and clubs could be heard late into the night, making it difficult to sleep.

Holy moly, this place blew my mind! The room was jaw-droppingly huge, clean, and oh-so comfy. Separate bathroom and high-tech toilet? Check! I loved chilling on the couch area, watching TV while lounging like a boss. And the location was off the charts, super close to the train station and major hotspots like Gion and Yasaka shrine. Plus, the staff were mega polite and spoke English like pros. Oh, and did I mention the strong WiFi? this place was way beyond my expectations!

Personally, I wasn't a fan of the sofa in the double room. I found it a bit uncomfortable, but others may still find it cozy.
